Madhavi is a social innovator and the founder of the Awareness for Inclusion Foundation which operates under its brand – In For The Cause. IFTC works on spreading awareness on 21 disabilities as per the disability act of 2016 and provides employment opportunities to people with disabilities. Incorporated in 2017, IFTC has partnered with several corporates to sensitise their employees on persons with disabilities through experiential workshops. IFTC’s unique need-based product, awareness socks have been widely appreciated for their quality and recall value. Prior to IFTC, she has been involved with Muskaan, a New Delhi based NGO for adults with intellectual disabilities. As an executive member and the secretary of the parents’ association, she was responsible for 5 years organisational strategy. After working in multi-national companies across several countries around the world for over 16 years, Madhavi is now involved in the social sector full time.
Her contributions to the Inclusive India Campaign launched by the National Trust, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in 2017 have been well recognized. She is on the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee of Egon Zehnder. An avid reader, amateur singer and Kathak dancer, Madhavi is based out of Gurgaon.
